RETAINING GOD IN OUR KNOWLEDGE 1

Rom 1:28
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; [KJV]

The mind is where the real battlefield is for the believer. God created the earth so that His own signature is upon everything He made. But the prince of this world has framed the systems of this world to challenge every knowledge of God. Our Salvation is likened to a helmet that must sit always on our heads which signify our minds. (Eph 6:17).
'For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ' (2 Cor 10:4-5).

One way the enemy of our souls build strongholds in our minds is to make us worry. He sows thoughts that we can usually take as our own imaginations and dwell on. The Parable in Mat 13:25 shows that the enemy's main strategy is to come when our guards are down (‘while men slept’). And our Lord further warned us to watch the thoughts we dwell on, saying for instance, 'Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body more than raiment? (Mat 6:25).

Whenever you choose to trust God above worry, you have defeated the enemy hands down and made all his strategies dead on arrival.
Go into today choosing to trust God than to worry.

Prayer: I declare that I have the mind of Christ. I receive strength to dislodge every imagination that is not of God. I receive grace to trust God more. In Jesus' name. Amen. Not saved? http://bit.ly/1iTOmol
