Thou
wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he
trusteth in thee.
Isa
26:3 KJV
Are
you in a situation where peace seems a million miles away?
I
want you to know that God’s plan for you today is not just peace but perfect
peace. God wants you to know that no matter how far you have gone on the path
that has no peace, He cares, He can and He will give you perfect peace as long
as your heart is stayed on Him. How can your heart be stayed on God? Your Heart
can be stayed on God when you trust in God; when you see Him as your sole
source and provider, when He indeed is your father whose face you seek. The
scripture we just read says God will keep Him in perfect peace whose mind is
stayed on Him because He trusts in Him.
One
of the ways I can explain trust in God is when you Believe that God loves you,
Believe and know that God is Interested in your life, that He is interested in
the everyday details of your life and that He wants your success, Joy and
prosperity; He wants you to be happy, He wants you to succeed in your
endeavors. God is more interested in your success than you are interested in
your success- that is a fact. The Devil always tries to make us think
otherwise.
The
knowledge that God is interested in the details and the success of your life
should make you stayed on Him such that you live your life according to His
will. The tough part is that sometimes it may seem that you doing God’s will in
certain situations may not produce apparent success. These are the points where
your trust in God is tried and proved, we can all say to trust God but it is in
such situations that we find out if we really trust God.
If
you know who God is, how great and unlimited His power is and how He loves you
unconditionally. And then you are in a situation that presents itself such that
your identifying with God may put you in a disadvantaged situation, your trust
in God is what will make you do the right thing. Our father Abraham was faced
with a similar situation when God told Him to Sacrifice His only son, a son he
had after almost one century. Abraham obeyed God because he trusted God. He
knew that God was more interested in his legacy and in him having children.
After all he just asked to have a normal family and God told him He had bigger
plans; God told him to look at the stars …read Genesis 15
I
want you to know that God has bigger plans for you and you will begin to see
these plans manifest from today. Just make sure you begin to trust God more
from today.
