God's Power Within You

Rom 8:3-4
The law of Moses was unable to save us because of the weakness of our sinful nature. So God did what the law could not do. God sent His own Son in a body like the bodies we sinners have. And in that body God declared an end to sin's control over us by giving his Son as a sacrifice for our sins. 4 He did this so that the just requirement of the law would be fully satisfied for us, who no longer follow our sinful nature but instead follow the Spirit.

There is a nature you were born with that works contrary to the nature of God’s Spirit who now lives within you if indeed you are born again. This sinful nature is one that you now have power not to follow because of the sacrifice of Jesus.
The power of God that now works in you is what makes you able to rise again even if you fall seven times.
A man without power will not be able to rise even if he falls once. God wants you to walk in the victory that He has destined for you by taking advantage of the power He deposited within you when you became born again. You are not an ordinary person if you no longer follow the sinful nature you were born with because it takes God’s great power within you to do this.
Begin today with a renewed determination to follow the Spirit of God that lives within you.
Prayer: Heavenly father, I thank you for your gift of salvation, thank you for preserving my life to this day. I pray that you give me grace to follow your Spirit within me, in Jesus mighty name, Amen.

Jeremiah 29:11

Jeremiah 29:11
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
KJV

The plans that God has for you are great indeed, both in this life and in the life to come. God has made you a royal priesthood. He does not want you to think small of yourself because when you think small of yourself you are downplaying the work of God in your life and not giving Him glory. It is not humility that makes you look down on yourself, what humility does is to make you look up unto Jesus and not to yourself as your source and provider.
When the lord talks about an expected end here, he is referring obviously to your life in this earth, because there is no end in the life to come, it is everlasting. God wants you to have a fulfilled life more than anyone else, even more than you. One of the primary works of the devil is to make us lose consciousness or never come to the realization of this fact.
When you have come to understand that God wants the best for you, then and only then can you rest in Him and can you indeed be free of anxiety in the midst of much contradictions. Your rest in God will facilitate a trust in Him that will make you consciously want to live your life in accordance with His will no matter how hard it might seem.
One thing I need you to know today is that God has a plan for your life. You have a file in heaven, you are that important. God did not bring you to this earth without having a detailed plan for your life; you are not an orphan in this word.
One of the ways you can make sure you are walking in God’s will for your life is by making sure that you love God and that you are doing what He has called you to do per time.

God's Masterpiece

Eph 2:9-10
Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. 10 For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
God saved you not because you were righteous but because He wants to make you righteous. This is purely a function of His love for you. He selected you out of the multitude of this world to be His own. there are good and great things that has packaged in your destiny, there are wonderful things that God has planned for you to do on the earth, you can only do these good and great things He planned when you have been created anew in Christ; this is when we get the power to do these great things. The secret therefore is abiding in Christ: remaining under His kingdom and Lordship, and letting His unlimited power flow through you.
Prayer: Heavenly father, thank you for this Day you have made, thank you for your love for me. I pray lord that you give me wisdom to connect to this power you have put within me, so to live the great life you have planned for me, in Jesus name, amen.

Fruit of the Spirit

Gal 5:22-24
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

NIV

Further Study: Eph 3:20-21 (click to read)

A fruit is product of the process of growth a seed that has been planted undergoes.
When you were born again, the seed of God was planted within you. God did this with the intention that it will bear fruit.
It is your responsibility to nurture this seed (which is your new nature that does not support sin) such that you begin to bear fruit.
This new righteous nature you have is a result of the Holy Spirit who now lives within you.
If by any means you have observed that the fruit of the spirit is not manifested in your life the way it should, do not be discouraged, instead set your heart on God. God has made the grace available for you to live a victorious Christian life in the world, plug into this grace by trusting in Him and consciously apportioning time to do the things that enhance your faith. God has also made all blessing available for you so you can do this without struggle. All you need to do is to depend on His grace and His power within you (the Holy Spirit) and stop depending on your will to bear the fruit of the Spirit.
Just like a fruit is proof of the maturity of a tree or plant, the fruit of the Spirit you bear is proof of your spiritual maturity, and this maturity is tantamount to spiritual power and authority. God’s plan for you is that you walk in this authority every day.
Prayer: Lord I thank you for your word. Please give me the grace to bear the fruit of the Spirit today and Every day. Amen
