SALT OF THE EARTH

http://candidkerry.files.wordpress.com/2011/08/salt_of_the_earth11.jpg

Matt 5:13
"You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men.
NASU
Jesus wants you to know that as long as you are in this world, you are the one He has given the responsibility to give it meaning and preserve it.
God would not have destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah if He had found at least ten righteous people in those cities (Gen 18:26-33).
Your flavor or taste as a child of God is your righteous nature and your right standing with God. There are many disasters that your presence in a place will avert if you have right standing with God.
Just like food without salt is unpleasant, when you fail to fulfill your purpose in the place God has planted you, that place becomes unpleasant.
Prayer:
Dear heavenly father, I thank you this day and how you have shown me your word. I ask that you help me to stay connected to you so I don’t lose my savor, in Jesus name. Amen
