Ps
8:3-4
When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy
fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
4
What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou
visitest him?
KJV
When
we worship God, we do this for our own good.
Worshiping and praising God sets us up for receiving from Him and participating
in His nature.
Every
other thing that we may need to strain our flesh to do is because of our own
good. The way the world has become, there are certain good things that cannot
happen until certain sacrifices are made. God tells us to make these sacrifices
because He wants these certain good things to happen to us.
The
love that God has for us is indeed a great one such that we can become His
children.
He
has given us the opportunity to partake in His divine nature. We can exercise
the authority that is in His name because we are now His children if indeed we
are born again and abiding under His kingdom.
Prayer
Dear
heavenly father, I thank you for your word today. I thank you for loving me so
much. I pray that you help me love you more, in Jesus name, Amen
