Col 1:15-16
Christ is
the visible image of the invisible God.
He existed
before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,
It is impossible
for us as humans to see God or interact effectively with God because God is
Spirit.
In order for
us to have a relationship with God, God came in the form of human flesh to
dwell with us. This God’s plan was concluded from the realm of eternity and
because this realm is not entirely in the realm of time by a realm that is
before, in, through and after time, it is impossible for us to accurately
explain some aspects of this mystery.
Jesus is God
come in the flesh, so because Jesus has come, we now have the opportunity to
have a solid relationship with God, just like we have with a real tangible
person.
People like Moses
and the prophets who interacted with God before the birth of Jesus did this
because they were prophets and God spoke to mankind through them (see Heb 1:1)
but now is the time that God speaks to us through Jesus Christ who is the
express image of His glory.
Jesus Christ
is God come in the flesh.
Prayer:
Dear
heavenly father, I thank you for giving me the opportunity to come to you
through Jesus Christ.
I pray dear lord that you help me know you
more, in Jesus name. Amen
