Rom 5:6-11
When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at
just the right time and died for us sinners. 7 Now, most people would not be willing to
die for an upright person, though someone might perhaps be willing to die for a
person who is especially good. 8 But God showed his great love for us by
sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. 9 And since we have been made right in God's
sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God's
condemnation. 10 For since our friendship with God was
restored by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly
be saved through the life of his Son. 11 So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new
relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God.

Little Salma was so scared
of the dark that she could not sleep in her room alone. There was something
strange about the way darkness scared her, she screamed and ran away whenever
the lights were put out. Her mother came up with a brilliant solution; she
bought Salma a long lasting LED light that could stay on for several hours and
would charge during the day. ‘make sure you never put off this light. Keep it
with you at all times so you can sleep in peace’ Salma’s mother told her every night.
Sin had always been the
cause of enmity between man and God. God is life sin causes death. Sin is the
spiritual equivalent of darkness and God is the light. Light always overcomes
darkness. The best way to keep sin away so that you can enjoy a good relationship
with God is to always stay in the presence of God who is the Light. God has
sent you His precious Holy Spirit to live in you; this is the power you need to
overcome sin at all times.
Go into today with your
heart dominated by a Holy Spirit consciousness and a determination to break the
mystery of sin in your life by constantly living in the consciousness of God’s.
Let the light always stay on and don’t forget to recharge by constantly
studying the word of God in an atmosphere of prayer. Take out some moments from
time to time to pray fervently in the spirit. Let this light shine, shine, shine.
Pray heav
