Isa 30:21

"And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left"

KJV

One of the advantages a believer has is being led by the Holy Spirit (Rom 8:14). It is important that a believer develops his spiritual sensitivity so that he might be able to know where God wants him to be per time.

“And there was a famine in the land: and Abram went down into Egypt..." Gen 12:10. Abram did not get to know the plans of God concerning him in that famine. It was from that line of action he took that he got Hagar, who then gave birth to Ishmael, the race that brought great hardship to God’s people. (Gen 16:1, 15).

Isaac was faced with the same challenge and wanted to make the same mistake his father made, but luckily for him he was spiritually sensitive enough to hear from God. "And there was a famine in the land, beside the first famine that was in the days of Abraham... And the LORD appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of" (Gen 26:1-2).

Go into today with the desire to be able to hear God's voice and to follow His leadings for Your life always.

Prayer: Father, I thank for your promise to lead and guide me. I ask that You will cause me to be able to recognize your voice and to follow Your leading always, in Jesus name, amen.
