Rev 5:8

And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. [KJV]

When Sandra was to deliver her first child, the doctor said there could be certain complications. Sandra was not the least worried because she remembered she had prayed and received peace concerning her safe delivery weeks ago. Everything ended up without complications; she gave birth to a healthy baby and was discharged from the hospital the next day.

What we experience in life is usually a result of what we prayed or failed to pray about.

One of the essences of prayer is to ask for God's intervention in our affairs. We pray about issues that border us. Even though we may not always get what we want or get it when we want it, the fact that God listens to us with keen interest flowing out of love and devotion is comforting, and we can rest knowing that He is in charge of what we’ve handed over to Him.

God keeps record of all our prayers. Whenever we pray, God hears us and He does not forget. God always answers; it may take time; it may be a "Yes" or a "No". His answers are the best for us from an eternal point of view.

Go into today with the goal of Praying about everything. God is a listening father to all His children.

Prayer: Thank you father for always hearing me when I cry to you. Amen
