Ps 1:3
3 He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers. [NIV]
Akindele was surprised that his business was so successful in such a short while. Many members of the Church assembly he attended decided to patronize his business and told their friends to do same. Because his services were excellent, he didn’t lose any of his new customers.
He felt a leading to expand his business and open two more shops in other parts of town. He prayed about it, and when he was sure that expanding his business meant creating extra outlets for kingdom influence, He knew he would succeed.
When God greatly increases and gives you success in your work, you must remember that your work is an outlet for His Kingdom. God has given us a command to increase and multiply, and whatsoever God is involved with always increases and does not diminish. You must know that an expansion in your business and work means an increase in the influence points of God’s kingdom on the earth through you. Everyone that works in your organization would work in a place under the influence of God’s kingdom. As opposed to working in places that exerts principles of the kingdom of darkness. Some ladies in marketing departments of some large institutions have been subtly instructed to bring customers using every method necessary, including prostituting themselves. Can you imagine that? Some organizations are so designed that people who work in them would have no time for sound Christian fellowship.
Go into today knowing that God has set some of us to also build great organizations that herald His Kingdom and righteousness on the earth.
