Luke 5:12
And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. [KJV]

The text above is the story of a leper who had no doubt about Jesus' ability to heal him, but is not as sure about His willingness. This is the story of many Christians in more than one ways.

First, take note that the leper called Jesus 'Lord'. He even fell on His face in worship of the Lord Jesus. Christians are people who accept Jesus as Lord and worship Him accordingly.

Secondly, he was described as 'full of leprosy'. Here was a man who knew Jesus as Lord, how did he still have so many issues in his life? Oh yes, countless Christians - believers in Jesus Christ - still have very many issues in their lives. Issues that they are not so sure Christ is willing to solve for them.

Like the leper, a lot of believers do not doubt the ability of the Lord Jesus Christ. They have read in the Scriptures, they have heard testimonies. So, they know Christ is more than able to solve their problems. But, will He? That is up to Him they think.

Do you have an issue in your life which you feel God is not willing to solve? A health issue, for instance. Jesus never turned back anyone that was sick. He is still ever willing to heal.

Start by praying the prayer in our main text today. Find some scriptures to make your case. Do it worshipfully. Believe to hear Him say to you like He did to the leper 'I will'. Amen.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, if you are willing, you can do even this (mention the issue).
