Therefore go and make disciples of all nations…[NIV]
Ever since Mrs. Davidson started being more committed to her relationship with the Lord, it dawned on her that she needed to not only lead her children to Christ but to disciple them to grow spiritually. She also wanted to lead all the assistants in her house to the Lord; they included a house keeper, a chef, a house girl and two drivers.
She began by informing everyone that a special devotional session will begin in the house every Monday by 5am, and everyone was to be in attendance. She prayed and fasted about this. During the first Monday devotional, she distributed daily devotional booklets to everyone, instructing that hence forth they were to use it, and during the daily evening prayers everyone would discuss what they learned from God's word and what they learned from the day's experience. This worked in helping her disciple her household; everyone was led to re-dedicating their lives to Christ in the first Monday morning prayer. They all started growing because they could discuss the word of God in the evenings and even ask questions.
This is how one woman brought Christ into her household. Remember that as a follower of Christ, you have the responsibility to make disciples of Christ anywhere God has planted you.
Go into today remembering that you do not only have the knowledge but the power of God is available for you to make disciples for Christ everywhere.
Prayer: Thank you Father for helping me in my walk with You. I pray You help me to also help others know you, in Jesus name I pray. Amen
