Hebrews 4:12 (KJV)
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
If you have to say several times "Don't misunderstand what I'm saying", or "you're taking what I'm saying out of context", then you haven't done due diligence to the truth or presented it well, or maybe you don't even understand what you affirm.
You have tilted to one side for some reasons best known to you. Because, whole truth is an impartial unwavering sharp apex flanked by two slopy sides of facts which end in lies.
Try not to stand on one side in the name of correcting the other side
Don't use God's judgment to cancel out God's love
Or Christ's resurrection to make insignificant Christ's death (in your estimation)
Or set holiness as the opposite of grace
Or make righteous works the antithesis of faith
Or turn forgiveness of sins against repentance
Or make submission the enemy of liberty
Or righteousness consciousness the antonym of confession of sins
Or the law the enemy of faith
Or being seated on High the opposite of pressing up the Way.
When handling truth, speak not only to be understood, but also to not be misunderstood.
It is the safest and surest place to stand or build on.
So climb up the mountain of impressive, opposing, alluring, and conflicting facts and do not stop until you get to the zenith. Then plant your flag of obedience atop the extremely sharp double-edged apex of truth. And hold fast.
