Philippians 1:21-24 (NET) "For to me, living is Christ and dying is gain. Now if I am to go on living in the body, this will mean productive work for me, yet I don’t know which I prefer: I feel torn between the two because I have a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far, but it is more vital for your sake that I remain in the body."

Adanna was a successful lawyer working in a top firm. Though she attended church regularly, her faith had little impact on her daily life. A turning point came when she attended a retreat and heard a message about living intentionally for Christ. She decided that her career, which she had once pursued for personal ambition, would now be a tool to glorify God.

Not long after her decision, Adanna was assigned a case involving a young man falsely accused of a crime. As she worked tirelessly to defend him, she learned about his difficult background and his desperate need for hope. Adanna felt compelled to share the gospel with him, something she had never done in a professional setting before. The young man not only won his case but also gave his life to Christ. That single case marked the beginning of Adanna’s mission to integrate her faith into her profession, impacting countless lives.

Adanna’s story is a reminder that living for Christ isn’t confined to church or ministry work—it’s about using every part of your life for His purpose. Like the Apostle Paul, who saw every moment of his life as an opportunity to glorify Christ, we too can turn our ordinary experiences into extraordinary testimonies when we live for Him.

Go into today with the mindset that every moment, no matter how ordinary, can be used for God’s glory when you live intentionally for Christ. Your life may be the only gospel some people will ever encounter.

Prayer: Lord, help me to see every moment and opportunity as a chance to live for You. Teach me to use my skills, career, and relationships to bring glory to Your name. Amen.
