1 Corinthians 2:9 (NET) But just as it is written, “Things that no eye has seen, or ear heard, or mind imagined, are the things God has prepared for those who love him.”
Believers are uniquely blessed to have their eyes opened to the overwhelming love of God. This revelation transforms us, filling our hearts with a desire to love Him in return. Humanity is wired to reciprocate love, and only those with hardened hearts fail to respond to genuine love.
One way we show our love for God is by seeking to please Him. Pleasing God begins with obeying His commandments and understanding His ways so we can align our lives with His will. As we grow in love for God, our actions and decisions increasingly reflect our desire to honor Him.
God’s greatest expectation of us is that we love Him wholeheartedly. When we grasp the depths of His love, our natural response will be to love Him and live in a way that brings Him glory.
Go into today remembering that God’s love for you is beyond comprehension. Let that love inspire you to live a life that pleases Him.
